The Courtauld is located within Somerset House, one of London’s most famous landmarks and right in the heart of the city. Both the Gallery and Art Café can be directly accessed via The Strand entrance of Somerset House.

The Courtauld Gallery is part of the newly pedestrianised Strand Aldwych ‘creative thinking quarter’ – a major new public space in the heart of London.

The Courtauld is in walking distance of Trafalgar Square, Shaftesbury Avenue, Covent Garden and Bloomsbury – hubs of art, education and culture that are enhanced by the Strand Aldwych pedestrianisation project.
