Our Vernon Square and Somerset House buildings will be closing in light of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak – find out more here.

The Sackler Research Forum offers an extensive programme of fellowships, lectures, conferences, workshops and seminars supporting advanced inquiry in the history of art, conservation and museum studies.

Established in 2003 with the aid of a generous grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, from 2015/16 our programmes are funded by The Sackler Trust with continuing support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Sign up to our mailing list for weekly updates on our seminars, lectures, conferences, and talks.

The Sackler Research Forum is based at our Vernon Square campus:

Our temporary move to Vernon Square coincides with the transformative Courtauld Connects project – an ambitious venture that will make The Courtauld’s world-class artworks, research and teaching accessible to more people – in the UK and internationally.
