Rebecca is responsible for research evaluation and knowledge exchange at the Courtauld. She works across the institute to offer expert advice on planning and evaluating impact activities at all stages of a research project’s trajectory. This includes establishing and managing relationships with external non-academic organisations from the private, public and third sectors to promote research engagement, co-creation and impact dialogues with Courtauld research.
Rebecca is also responsible for leading and coordinating the Courtauld’s Research Excellence Framework (REF) submission.
Rebecca completed a PhD in History of Art at the University of York and has published on histories of sculpture and allegory, military violence, and networks of colonial imagery in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. She has previously held research fellowships at the Huntington, the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art and the Henry Moore Foundation.
