Through our partnership with King’s College London, Courtauld students benefit from access to world-class educational resources and facilities across both institutions – all in the heart of London. As globally renowned centres of learning, The Courtauld and King’s College have combined expertise and cutting-edge research to offer joint programmes that provide students with exceptional opportunities for academic and professional development.

Access King’s services and facilities

As a Courtauld student, you will have access to services and facilities across King’s College London’s five campuses, including Strand Campus next to The Courtauld Gallery and Somerset House. From cafés and libraries to chaplaincy and medical services, you can also  join King’s clubs, societies and sports teams. This is in addition to accessing The Courtauld’s libraries, clubs and societies, and more.

King’s accommodation

King’s College London’s halls of residences are open to first year undergraduate students and postgraduate students enrolling on nine-month MA programmes only. Students have the choice between Angel Lane and Canada Water, in addition to The Courtauld’s own accommodation, Duchy House, and University of London accommodation.

Academic collaboration

Harnessing our combined expertise, The Courtauld and King’s have developed new Masters’ programmes. The MA in Contemporary Art and the Moving Image is a collaborative degree programme focused on the vibrant intersection of contemporary art and moving image practice. The Courtauld’s one-year MA Art and Business, taught in collaboration with King’s Business School, offers an unparalleled opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to succeed in today’s commercial art world.

Students on the BA History of Art programme can take electives through King’s world-leading Arts and Humanities departments. A range of language courses are also offered to Courtauld students through the Language Centre at King’s, including French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Arabic and Mandarin.
