Many documents can be accessed from the Policies section of this website and are also available in paper copy from the contacts indicated in the scheme. Alternative formats may be arranged by special request, but there may be a charge to cover production costs.

If you would like to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 that is not available through the publication scheme, you can do so by one of the following options.

Requests should be made in writing and will normally take 20 working days for a response. A fee may be charged. Information subject to an exemption in the Act will not be released.
Complaints and appeals
If you are not satisfied with the way we have handled your request or with the reasons we have given for refusing to provide information, you have the right to appeal.
If you are not satisfied with a response to your request for information, you may seek an internal review of the request by replying in writing, to our listed address above or to FOI@courtauld.ac.uk
If you remain dissatisfied with The Courtauld’s response following an internal review, you may seek an independent adjudication on the matter from the Information Commissioner, who can be contacted at Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF or you may telephone on 01625 545 745.
