Creating a response & documentation (part of Reworking Manet)

Live Brief for state school students aged 14-18

Reworking Manet welcomes responses in all shapes, sizes, and formats. This includes artwork, spoken word, essays, musical composition, performances, and documentary film/photography. Join our creating a contemporary response and documentation webinar to explore how previous students have engaged and made response to Manet’s most famous work.

This webinar will also look at documenting techniques in order for you to submit your creations to The Courtauld Reworking Manet online gallery.

This webinar is part of Reworking Manet, a live brief for state school students aged 14-18, which asks participants to research, interrogate and create a personal response to the painting in any media. Students are welcome to join this webinar regardless if they take part in the wider Reworking Manet live brief.

Our Creating a response & documentation webinar will take place online on Monday 27th February 2023 and will be led by artist Toya Walker. Bookings are open.
