Join us in-person at the Courtauld to discuss and discover contemporary artwork within the collection.
Attendees will take a trip around the Courtauld Gallery looking at artwork from Rachel Jones to Cecily Brown. We will hear from Elena, Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the Courtauld on how you integrate contemporary artworks into a collection which is famous for its 1800s artworks. We will also visit the Prints & Drawings and take part in a short practical workshop making a contemporary response to a Courtauld painting.
Contemporary Courtauld will be run by art historian Fran Herrick and National Schools Officer, Tessa Carr.
