Big Draw

Free with a gallery ticket

Celebrate The Big Draw Festival at the Courtauld on Friday 30 October.

Make a Mark, Make a Pattern!

Join members of our friendly learning team in the Courtauld Gallery Entrance Hall and pick up paper, pencils and materials to help explore your favourite patterns and create your own colourful designs. We will be drawing colourful patterns and designs inspired by architectural details, artworks and cultural objects in our collection.

The Big Draw Festival champions drawing as a universal language and a powerful tool for learning, self-expression, and innovation. Every October, organisers across the globe sign up to be part of the festival, hosting everything from hands-on workshops and exhibitions to large-scale collaborative projects.

Booking is not necessary — this is a drop-in activity suitable for all ages. All materials will be provided. Under 18s go free at the Courtauld and other concessions apply.

Children must be accompanied at all times.
