Art and Curating
These workshops explore the role of curator, inviting students to work together and share imaginative responses to a range of artworks. Their aim is to help students feel ownership and connection to London’s exhibitions and collections whilst using the Courtauld Collection to think about how a typical historical collection might be made relevant for contemporary audiences and interests.
Our workshops are delivered by a team of specialist educators so will vary according to who is available on your chosen date but activities include discussion around the role of the curator, developing themes and choosing artworks, writing proposals and wall panels and presenting to the rest of the class.
