We can learn much about the lives of other people and ourselves through looking at portraits. Artworks in our collection provide a rich source of material and prompt discussion allowing students to develop confidence in sharing their opinions.

Our tours are delivered by a team of specialist educators so will vary according to who is available on your chosen date but they will all include engaging closely with an artwork and ideas about subject, process and composition.
