September 2018 – July 2019

From Sunday 2 September 2018 The Courtauld Gallery will temporarily close for a major transformation project, Courtauld Connects, which will restore the historic building, improve access and create a dedicated learning centre for schools, families and community groups.

Whilst the renovation is taking place we will continue to work with learning groups through a lively outreach programme of free workshops, delivered directly in schools and colleges. These will explore a combination of art history and practical art-based approaches.

About our Primary Outreach Workshops

This interactive and exploratory workshop, led by a specialist educator, will introduce key works from the Courtauld Gallery Collection and encouraged looking, recording, questioning and responding to visual culture.
