Study Tours

April to November 2026, from £330. Thirteen multi-day tours led by expert lecturers in small, sociable groups, with museum entry and on-site travel included. Destinations range from Rome, Venice and Vienna to New York, Devon and Bloomsbury in Sussex.

Evening Study

Eight courses over five weeks each, October 2026 to March 2027, from £245. Most combine pre-recorded lectures with live evening seminars; one is taught on campus. Art history for those who can't make time during the working day.

Showcasing Art History

An evening lecture series, on campus or online, in three free-standing terms a year. Leading scholars share the latest art-historical thinking with the public. Book a single term or the whole year, with a discount for more than one.

Saturday Study

Single-morning events, once a term, on campus or online. Sociable sessions that draw on our exhibitions and permanent collection to explore a theme. On-campus tickets include gallery entry; sessions are recorded for online access.

Autumn School

Six thematic courses on campus, beyond the introductory. A grounding in Western art from classical antiquity to the present, plus the arts of Islam.

Summer School

Summer School 2027 will be announced later this year. The 2026 programme offered twenty-four five-day courses, online and on campus, from late classical to contemporary art.

Spring School

Spring School 2027 will be announced later this year. The 2026 programme offered five thematic courses, on campus and online, from classical antiquity to the present.
