During this closed workshop Anne Boyer presented some work-in-progress, talking about Lisa Robertson, Elizabeth Taylor and the middle-work.
The group had an informal conversation based on contributed resources about the menopause, including Ursula Le Guin’s “Space Crone” from 1976 (hence the working title of “Crone Work”).
Terminology was a key consideration during the discussion as many older texts on menopause talk only about women, but the importance of acknowledging non-binary and trans menopause experience was at the fore.
