“I think that the historical aspect of Driffield has really influenced my ‘Impression of Place’. This led me to focus on the canal, which was opened in 1770, as well as a cluster of warehouses, including Mortimers, which was built to support the export of agricultural goods. I find it impressive how this historical architecture is still part of our town today.”
