Join us for this teachers event focusing on our current special exhibition Frank Auerbach. The Charcoal Heads and introducing our new Focus resource.
Presented together for the first time this series of hauntingly beautiful, large-scale drawings made in the 1950s and early 1960s by Frank Auerbach are being shown alongside a selection of paintings he made of the same sitters. Join us to:
- Start your week well with a private introduction to the exhibition by curator Barnaby Wright.
- Enjoy art activities in the Leon Kossoff Learning Centre which will enrich your own practice and school lesson plans.
- Discuss your ideas with other teachers and the Courtauld Learning Team.
- Hear more about our programmes and opportunities whilst enjoying a drink and refreshments.
This event is open to Primary, Secondary, F.E. and student teachers and the activities in the resource can be adapted for different ages and abilities. We apologise that owing to capacity we cannot provide group booking tickets for Primary groups to the special exhibitions.
