Hire of both gallery floors starts from £18,000 + VAT dry hire
Ideal for larger events or extra special occasions where you would like to showcase the breadth of our collection, our Second & Third Floor Galleries can be dually hired.
For drinks receptions, we can host up to 350 guests, with guests having access to both floors for the full duration of the evening. This option showcases the full breadth of our spectacular and varied collection throughout the evening, with guests enjoying both our Impressionist and Post-Impressionist collections, alongside our Renaissance and Early Renaissance collections. With bars situated on each floor, we can carefully curate each floor to ensure an enjoyable evening is had by all.
For an unrivalled dining experience, this option gives guests the opportunity to start their evening with welcome drinks on the third floor, in our LVMH Great Room, alongside works by Van Gogh, Monet, Manet, Renoir and more. At 8pm, guests are then called downstairs to dine in our Rubens and Baroque Room, the Gallery’s premier private dining space and home to The Courtauld’s celebrated collection of works by Peter Paul Rubens. All 6 of the Blavatnik Fine Rooms will remain open throughout the evening, showcasing major highlights including Botticelli’s large-scale The Trinity With Saints and Lucas Cranach the Elder’s Adam and Eve.
Access to our Denise Coates Temporary Exhibition Galleries can also be added on to any dual Second Floor and Third Floor Gallery hire, allowing guests special out of hours access to one of our major exhibitions – these galleries have previously hosted 5* exhibitions by artists such as Van Gogh and Peter Doig, with a full schedule available here. Access to our Temporary Exhibition Galleries can be added on to any dual hire for a fee of £1,500 + VAT, with Courtauld Experts on hand to provide expert introductions from £300 + VAT.
