Using a range of artworks, including our unique collection of Impressionist paintings, we offer workshops that encourage your students to use close looking and practical experimentation to develop their understanding of how artists use colour.rnrnOur workshops are delivered by a team of specialist educators so will vary according to who is available on your chosen date but they will all include engaging closely with an artwork and ideas about subject, process and composition.rnrnActivities might include experimenting with colour mixing with revision of terms such as primary, secondary, shade, tone and contrast to create a collaborative artwork that considers how colour affects mood and can be used as a means of expression. Our educators are experienced at adapting sessions to suit your students’ level and experience and will support them to develop confidence in their visual analysis skills and practical response.
