For nine decades, The Courtauld’s tradition of teaching, research and curating has been maintained due to the generosity and foresight of philanthropic individuals who share our commitment to the visual arts and excellence.

Your support makes a difference

Whether you are a visitor, member, donor, student or Courtauld graduate, thank you for being part of our community. Your support helps us continue to champion academic excellence in the research, conservation, curating and teaching of art history, care for one of the world’s finest art collections, and support Courtauld students – the curators, conservators, and art historians of the future.

Every donation you make supports our mission to make art available for all and ensures The Courtauld remains a place to inspire new thinking about art and culture for generations to come. Thank you.

Supporting our students

Navigating the current cost of living crisis has had a considerable impact on the emotional and financial wellbeing of many of our students, particularly those who joined The Courtauld from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

We need your help to provide more students with financial aid via the Hardship Fund than ever before and develop crucial wellbeing and counselling programmes to support mental health.

Donate now and help our students excel in their studies and reach their full potential

Safeguarding The Courtauld’s collection

Our world-renowned collection is a treasure trove of paintings, works on paper and decorative arts spanning the medieval period to the present day. It includes world-famous Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings by the likes of Cézanne, Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh, as well as celebrated drawings by Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Turner and others.

We need your help to ensure The Courtauld’s collection continues to be cared for by world-leading experts with access to the latest in conservation techniques and state-of-the-art equipment. Your support will also help maintain the right environmental conditions in our galleries, essential for our works to survive so that future generations can learn and enjoy some of the world’s greatest works of art.

Providing careers guidance and mentoring

We need your help to deliver critical careers support programmes to our students and recent graduates, including tailored careers advice sessions, valuable skills workshops, and our Alumni-Student Mentoring Programme for students from underrepresented backgrounds.

With your support we can provide the practical tools they need to succeed in their careers and gain access to an influential and inspiring network of alumni professionals.
