On the 29/30 November 2019, The Courtauld Institute of Art will host RES|FEST x DUNDEE – a free festival of art historical research at V&A Dundee
Join The Courtauld Institute of Art at V&A Dundee for a two day festival of art historical research!
On Friday the 29th of November, 19.00 – 22.00, drop into lighting talks as you wish, listen to spoken word and musical performances, reimagine iconic works housed in the Courtauld Collection through Rujazzle’s installation ‘Queering the Canon’, access a curator’s tour of Hello, Robot, a groundbreaking new exhibition, and grab yourself a drink and a bite to eat while listening to OH141’s exclusive DJ set!
On Saturday the 30th of November, 12.00 – 16.00, we invite you and your family to take part in a range of workshops, pop-up tours and ‘in discussion’ sessions between representatives from The Courtauld Institute of Art and those based at V&A Dundee.
This is the first time we have held the festival at V&A Dundee, so we are looking forward to welcoming you all to the museum!
The event is free, but booking on the Friday night is essential due to popular demand. Seating is limited for the lightning talks and will operate on a first-come first serve-basis. Saturday will be drop-in and dip-able and no booking is required.
