Morgan Stanley Lates 2024 series announced

28 Feb 2024

The Morgan Stanley Lates with Somerset House and The Courtauld series returns in 2024, giving visitors the chance to experience another true site-wide takeover.

Taking place three times per year – in April, June and October – these special one-off nights out offer after-hours access and activities hosted by artists and curators, plus delicious food pop-ups and bars, and DJ sets to see you through the evening.

On 10 April,  join us to explore The Griffin Catalyst Exhibition: Frank Auerbach. The Charcoal Heads at The Courtauld Gallery. This exhibition is the first time Auerbach’s extraordinary post-war drawings, made in the 1950s and early 1960s, have been brought together as a comprehensive group. They are shown together with a selection of paintings he made of the same sitters. The exhibition is a unique opportunity to see early masterpieces by one of the world’s most celebrated living artists.

Take part in a drawing masterclass with London Fine Art Studios, take a curator tour of our latest exhibition and enjoy short performances by students from The Courtauld and The Royal Academy to draw you closer to masterpieces in The Courtauld’s collection.

There will be a range of activities across Somerset House on the evening including a major courtyard installation from Zheng Bo, live music from Livia Rita, a DJ set from Norsicaa and inflatable workshops with Agnes Cameron. There’s also the chance to catch the Cute and Now Play This exhibitions.

All courtyard activities will be free of charge to everyone, whilst after-hours exhibition entry will also be free to those aged 25 and under.

Tickets are on sale now for the April Morgan Stanley Lates. Book Now.

Tickets for the June and October events will be released later this year.
