A message of condolence on the death of Queen Elizabeth II

Deborah Swallow, Director of The Courtauld Institute of Art said:

“It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Our thoughts are with His Majesty King Charles III, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, our Chancellor, and other family members at this very difficult time.
We join with the rest of the nation and people the world over in mourning her death.”

The Lord Browne of Madingley, Chairman of The Courtauld Institute of Art said:

“Everyone at The Courtauld is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Throughout her long reign, Her Majesty has been a shining example of devoted service and steadfast duty. She embodied the spirit of the nation and today, together with millions around the world, we mourn.
My thoughts and the thoughts of everyone here are with all members of the Royal Family at this saddest of times.”
