A collaborative MA Special Option in 2015-16, Central European Art and Culture 1918-1956: A Minor Modernism?, has been made possible by the Marie-Louise von Motesiczky Charitable Trust. It is designed and co-taught by The Courtauld’s Dr Klara Kemp-Welch and Marie -Louise von Motesiczky Charitable Trust MA Visiting Scholar Dr Beata Hock who has an interdisciplinary educational and research background, having studied Comparative Literature and Art Theory at Eötvös Lóránd University Budapest and also specialising in the intersection of avant-garde theatre and happenings, performances, and action art.
