King’s innovative Pre-sessional courses provide you with the academic and language skills you need to succeed in your chosen degree and offer an excellent route to meeting your English language conditions.
The courses are fully online, and there are different course lengths to help you meet your Courtauld offer conditions. You will study with classmates who are preparing for degrees in Arts and Humanities, and you will acquire essential academic skills needed to succeed at postgraduate level and develop your independent learning and research strategies. You will practice common types of assessment, and throughout your course the team of experienced and highly qualified tutors at will give you the very best start in your academic studies.
98% of students met the conditions to progress to their chosen degree in 2025 and programme satisfaction on the King’s Pre-sessional has been above 98% for the past three years.
