The Courtauld holds one of the most extensive collections of paintings, design drawings, ceramics and furniture by artists from the Bloomsbury Group. Led by Roger Fry, Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell, these artists brought a new radical language of art to Edwardian Britain. Producing paintings and decorative arts, the group created a range of works for the domestic interior featuring bold colours and dynamic abstract designs.
