The Courtauld is available for hire out of public opening hours for a variety of events ranging from intimate private dining in our Blavatnik Fine Rooms, drinks receptions in our LVMH Great Room to light breakfasts in our relaxed Art Café.
With unrivaled access to both our permanent and temporary collections, gallery highlights and thematic tours can be also arranged to elevate each event, providing your guests with expert insight into key works from the Collection from our highly regarded academic community.
In February, we are launching a major exhibition of new and recent works by Peter Doig – including paintings and works on paper created since the artist’s move from Trinidad to London in 2021. The Morgan Stanley Exhibition: Peter Doig will present an exciting new chapter in the career of one of the most celebrated and important painters working today. It will be the first exhibition by a contemporary artist to take place at The Courtauld since it reopened in November 2021 following its acclaimed redevelopment.
In a viewing experience entirely unique to The Courtauld, guests will be also able to consider Doig’s contemporary works in the light of paintings by earlier artists in The Courtauld’s collection that are important for him, such as those by Cézanne, Gauguin, Manet, Monet, Pissarro and Van Gogh.
Whether treating guests to champagne and canapés in our magnificent LVMH Great Room or a more relaxed morning of coffee and croissants in our bohemian Art Café, The Courtauld has a myriad of exceptional entertaining opportunities available that can be combined with a Private View of the exhibition and access to the stunning Impressionist collection that has been so influential to Doig’s career.
Breakfast, Private Dining and Drinks Reception packages are available outside of our public Gallery opening hours, from 08:00 – 10:00 and 18:45 – 22:00.
