Free entry with gallery ticket

This short afternoon talk with live music celebrates the creativity in Duke Ercole I’s Court at Ferrara. Taking as its starting point Garofalo’s Holy Family (c.1520) we explore the Advent music of Josquin de Pres, Cipriano de Rore and others, all employed at Ferrara during the C 16th. Singers are directed by Edward Batting, Organist and Director of Music at St Albans, Holburn.

Organised by Dr Charlotte de Mille.
