We are delighted to announce that Dr Irene Noy will be the Research Forum’s Sackler Postdoctoral Fellow for the 2015/16 academic year. Earlier this year Dr Noy completed her doctorate on Sound Art from the late 1960s to the ‘80s created in West Germany. Her project was supervised by Dr Shulamith Behr and funded by the Marie-Louise von Motesiczky Charitable Trust. As Sackler Fellow, Dr Noy will be preparing her thesis for publication. She will also be running a project entitled ‘What Sense is there in Art? The Politics of (Multisensory) Experiences.’ Dr Noy will bring to the Research Forum huge enthusiasm for its mission and programmes, and a wealth of intellectual and practical skills. We are much looking forward to working with her through the coming year.
