Support our exceptional art collection
In 1932, visionary philanthropist Samuel Courtauld gifted his remarkable collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces to establish the Courtauld Gallery. His mission was simple yet profound: to make great art accessible to all. Today, we proudly continue that mission.
At the heart of the Courtauld Gallery lies a world-class collection featuring icons of art history, including Manet’s A Bar at the Folies-Bergère (1882), Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear (1889), and Cézanne’s Montagne Sainte-Victoire (c.1887).
