Waqas Wajahat is a collector and art dealer specialising in post-war and contemporary art, with a strong interest in mid-century design and Indian Mughal painting. He studied at the University of Pennsylvania and the Barnes Foundation, and gained curatorial experience at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Deeply committed to scholarship, connoisseurship, diversity, and philanthropy, Waqas has supported major museum exhibitions and serves on the boards of the Drawing Center and the Morris Museum. He is also involved with the Barnes Foundation, Norton Museum of Art, and the National Gallery of Art, and is the founding Chair of the International Committee at Malta Contemporary and a Patron of the Goodwood Art Foundation.
