Moujan Matin is an Archaeological Scientist who specialises in glazed ceramics of West Asia. She holds a BSc in Materials and Mining Engineering from the University of Tehran, and an MSc and DPhil in Archaeological Science from the University of Oxford. Her research explores how the study of objects and their production processes can shed light on the history of art and the history of technology. She is currently the Laboratory Director at the University of Western Ontario, where she continues to apply laboratory analysis methods to the study of archaeological and art historical materials.
