Angaragsuren Odkhuu

Odkhuu Angaragsuren is a conservator and fine artist with particular experience in the areas of painting, archaeological findings, textile, and mural painting. He received his B.A. and M.A. in Mongolian traditional painting from the University of Arts and Culture in Ulaanbaatar and a Ph.D. in conservation of the mural painting of the decorated ancient tomb from the Human and Environmental Studies at Kyoto University. His research focuses on ancient Mongolian pigments, traditional technology, and the restoration and conservation of the Mongolian Buddhist temples. He is a conservator at the National Library of Mongolia and researcher of the administration of the World Heritage Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape.
