Guided tour of Kenwood House by alumnus and curator of Kenwood House Dr Jerzy Kierkuc-Bielinski. Kenwood House is a masterpiece created by the famous 18th-century Scottish architect Robert Adam. He extended the house and designed many of the rooms – with the star attraction being the Great Library. Inside you will find a vast array of masterpieces from Rembrandt’s Self-Portrait (c.1665-68) to Gainsborough’s Mary Countess Howe (c.1764) and Vermeer’s The Guitar Player, (c.1672).
If there is demand, I am happy to organise 1 or more taxis from Hampstead Underground Station to Kenwood House at 11am and to return at 1.30pm or after lunch, both to be paid for locally between those who make use of it.
