Spring Courses online

Spring online courses include:

  • Five (or ten) pre-recorded one-hour lectures, which are delivered to students two (or four) weeks before the first discussion session.
  • A series of live Zoom seminars (of between sixty to seventy-five minutes’ duration). There is also a social ‘icebreaker’ session, usually on the Wednesday before your first Zoom seminar, where you can meet your tutor and classmates. We want to enable students to participate fully in the online seminars. Therefore, in all our online courses, where there are more than the maximum number of students, we split the group in two and offer a second seminar later the same day.
  • Pre-course reading materials, handouts, further reading suggestions, student-to-tutor and peer-to-peer discussion forums on the VLE.
