I am the Interim Director of Advancement and Marketing and Communications at The Courtauld leading our income generating activities from all supporters including philanthropists, corporate partners, trusts and foundations, alumni, patrons, and from commercial activities such as venue hire. A major focus for fundraising is Courtauld Connects Phase 2, a £50m capital campaign to redevelop the Institute site at Somerset House.
I have over 25 years of experience as a fundraising director across some of the UK’s best loved organisations such as Cancer Research UK (CR-UK), Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), UNICEF UK and more recently Birkbeck, University of London. Over the years I have led several major campaigns including a £100m campaign at CR-UK called Create the Change Campaign to fund the construction of the Frances Crick Institute, at St Pancras.
Since 2020 I have served as a Trustee on the board of the Africa Research Excellence Fund (AREF) and previously as a Trustee of the MRC’s Medical Research Foundation. I have also completed multiple marathons, triathlons and even two Ironman’s around the world.
