Rachel earned her MA (2009) and PhD (2016) from The Courtauld, specialising in medieval manuscripts. Prior to becoming Assistant Curator in 2023 she was the Drawings Cataloguer at The Courtauld (2016-2023). She held previous curatorial positions at the Katrin Bellinger Collection in London and the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City. Rachel curated Reading Drawings (2017) and Drawn to Blue: artists’ use of blue paper (2024-25) and co-curated Art and Artifice: Fakes from the Collection (2023) at The Courtauld.
