Monica is Chief Operating Officer at the Courtauld Institute of Arts, leading the organisation’s professional services. This includes overseeing the company’s operations and strategy development. She is working alongside the Courtauld Director Mark Hallett, as a strategic business partner, driving long-term financial growth, advocating culture, and managing organisational initiatives such as Courtauld Connects and Digital Transformation. She has extensive change management experience across both the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining The Courtauld, Monica held several executive positions, most recently as Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Serpentine, where she led the development and implementation of a major digital transformation program, driving change based on her strong financial management and governance skills. Over the course of her career, she has worked tirelessly to help businesses in growing sustainably, building effective management teams, and resolving a wide range of issues that come as a result of corporate growth. As a mentor and coach, Monica works with women in the finance and consulting industries to help them advance their careers and build their personal brands.
She is a member of the Finance Directors Group and serves as a director of the Charity Tax Group.
