Matt Elphick is a horror fan, writer, and academic joining Courtauld from the University of Winchester. He has worked in higher education for the last fifteen years in a variety of capacities, including administration, project management, student records development, research, and lecturing.
He has a decade’s experience working in the field of Learning and Teaching Development, specifically the area of Technology Enhanced Learning, where he has been involved in software administration, research, training, lecturing on the MA in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education, and has overseen large scale projects. Alongside his work in L&T he has been lecturing undergraduates on the Creative Writing programmes, with a particular focus on horror, folklore, and mythology.
