Eléonore de Sibert

Director of Advancement

I am the Director of Advancement at The Courtauld, leading the team across Philanthropy and Partnerships, Principal Gifts, Membership, Events and Alumni Engagement. A major focus for fundraising is Courtauld Connects Phase 2, a £50m capital campaign to redevelop our campus at Somerset House.

My career as an international fundraiser spans over 20 years within the visual arts, performing arts and higher education sector. As Head of Development at The Royal College of Music in London, I developed a comprehensive supporter engagement programme leading to the successful completion of the £40m More Music Campaign that will have a significant impact on the future of the College and of music education for generations to come. As Head of Individual Giving at the Paris Opera and prior to this, at the Louvre Museum, I played a pioneering role in developing individual and major giving programmes, launching the museum’s first public appeal and capital and endowment fund campaigns.

I am a graduate from HEC School of Management, Paris (MSc in Management, Media, Arts & Creation) and from École Normale Supérieure – Sorbonne University (MPhil in Modern Literature, magna cum laude) where I taught Theatrical Studies and researched French Drama of the 17th Century.
