Anna Opara

Associate Lecturer, Dutch language teacher

Anna Opara holds a BA in Dutch and History of Art awarded by University College London, where she specialised in 17th century Dutch painting. She studied Literary Translation at University of Gdansk and completed her master’s degree in Literary Translation at University of East Anglia with a thesis on nomadic theory of translation. She works as translator with Dutch, Polish, German and English.

As an Associate Lecturer at The Courtauld, Anna Opara teaches the Reading (Early) Modern Dutch Texts course to MA students since the 2017-2018 academic year.
