The Courtauld Gallery partners with MYSE to become the first UK cultural institution to offer personalised catalogues

11 Nov 2024

The Courtauld has partnered with MYSE to become the first UK cultural institution to give visitors a chance to create and take home their own personalised catalogue.

From 11 Nov 2024, visitors can download the MYSE app and create their own personalised catalogue during their visit to The Courtauld’s much-loved permanent collection, selecting their favourite artworks by scanning the gallery labels.

The Courtauld features art from the Renaissance to the 20th century and is particularly known for its Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces including Manet’s A Bar at the Folies-Bergere and Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear. The MYSE catalogue offers visitors to The Courtauld a unique experience to make great art personal.

After selecting their favourite works in the collection in their language of choice, visitors can then choose the format of the book and add a personalised caption before the catalogue is printed on site in The Courtauld Shop for them to collect – allowing them to leave with a one-of-a-kind copy, the ultimate souvenir. Visitors can choose to include between 8-44 works, with prices starting at £5 for a digital only copy, £11.95 for a slimmer version and up to £28.95 for a premium hardcover version (which is shipped to their home).

Available languages: English, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish

About MYSE

MYSE (“My Selection”) is a digital platform that enables museum visitors to create their own personalised catalogue. This unique souvenir is enriched by authentic information from specialists, with a large choice of languages. MYSE is a French technology founded in 2022 and deployed in partnership with the museums where it is offered.
