This year The Courtauld’s History of Dress department is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary. As part of their celebrations the MA and PhD students have collaborated with Dr. Rebecca Arnold (Oak Foundation Lecturer in History of Dress and Textiles) and fashion curator Judith Clark to create a display of dress historiography, showcasing the study of books that have shaped the study of fashion from 1598 to the mid 20th century.
See the display in the vitrine outside The Courtauld Book Library and check the History of Dress blog and Instagram for more information.
