Facing the Future: Gabriele Finaldi

The National Gallery: Looking forward as well as back

Gabriele Finaldi, formerly Deputy Director of the Prado, became Director of the National Gallery in 2015. In an increasingly technological world, what is the significance of the authentic experience of great art? How does a historic collection engage with the contemporary world?
