On 2 February 1982, The Courtauld’s painting Christ and the Woman Taken in Adultery, by Pieter Bruegel the Elder was stolen from the gallery at Portman Square. 10 years later, London Metropolitan policeman, Charles Hill, recovered the work. Charles is making a rare appearance to talk about his tireless pursuit to retrieve the stolen artwork, as well as his 20 career as Britain’s premier art sleuth.
