Alumni and Friends architectural walking tour of Regents Park area

Wed 7 Jul, 2021

Madeline Edmead, Courtauld Alumna (MA 1980) and architectural historian specialising in 18th and 19th century topics relating to the history of art and architecture and wider historical issues, will take us on a guided architectural walk of Regents Park.

The South, East and most of the West side of this park are lined with elegant white stucco terraces of houses designed by John Nash (1752-1835) and Decimus Burton. Depending on timing, she will also try to cover Portland Place, Park Crescent and Park Square, and part of Regent Street including the history of the whole development.

Starts at Langham Place and ends in Regents Park.
Followed by an optional lunch.
