Alumni in Athens: Tour of Museum of Archaeology and History of Art

Museum Director and Professor of Byzantine Archaeology Maria Constantoudaki-Kitromilides (MA 1986) will provide a free guided tour of the Collections and the Conservation Laboratory of the Museum of Archaeology and History of Art of the Department of History and Archaeology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (areas marked in maps below). We will also be joined by Dr Alexandra Sfyroera, classical archaeologist, Laboratory Teaching Staff, and Mr. Michel Roggenbucke, archaeological conservator, Laboratory Teaching Staff.

About the Museum
The museum belongs to the oldest higher education institution in Greece. Ιts eleven educational collections span the ancient Mediterranean worlds and the Byzantine Εmpire. They include archaeological, geological, and visual artefacts and works of art dating from prehistory to the Byzantine period and to the modern era. The museum is also a member of the International Council of Museums.
