Situated within a short walk from King’s Cross St. Pancras Station, our new campus boasts two large and newly-installed lecture theatres in addition to a range of seminar and meeting spaces,
perfect for:

An additional lecture theatre and seminar room remain available for hire at our Somerset House
campus.
All rooms are equipped with a full AV setup and free Wi-Fi.

Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre - North Block – East Wing – Second Floor
The Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre is situated in the historic North Block of Somerset House within The Courtauld Institute of Art. With 150 fixed seats, The Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre is perfect for conferences, lectures / talks, debates, training and film screening.
The Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre provides the following audio-visual capacities supported by projectionists:
- Data projection or slide projection (not simultaneous)
- Use of fixed desktop computer concealed within the lectern, and/or Mac or laptop supplied by the Slide Library for data-projection (PowerPoint etc.)
- CDs, DVDs or VHS to be played in advance in order to set sound levels.
- Microphones: in addition to the fixed lectern mic, up to 3 table top mics OR1 wireless mic, either hand-held or lapel type.Capacity

Seminar Room 1 - North Block – East Wing – First Floor
Seminar room 1 is situated in the historic North Block of Somerset House within The Courtauld Institute of Art. With a maximum capacity of 40 seats, Seminar Room 1 can be easily set up in theatre/lecture style, boardroom or U-shape layout and is perfect for conferences, lectures, debates, training, presentations etc.
This room can also be used for refreshment breaks in conjunction with The Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre.
Seminar Room 1 is set up with full AV equipment.
