Special Exhibitions, Private Views and Courtauld Expert Led Tours

Elevate your venue hire with special access to our permanent and temporary collections.

Elevate your event with exclusive access to one of The Courtauld’s special temporary exhibitions.  Offering your guests a private view of our otherwise ticketed exhibitions is a fantastic addition to any event. Alternatively, offer your guests unrivalled access to our permanent collection – our expert guide can offer expert insight into key works from the permanent Collection with gallery highlights and thematic tours.

Only available in conjunction with private venue hire, private views can take place in the morning before the Gallery opens to the public, or after our doors have closed in the evening.

Current exhibitions include a lead exhibition in our Denise Coates Exhibition Galleries , which showcases exciting exhibition by eccentric 18th century artist, Henry Fuseli, which explores Fuseli’s fascination with female sexuality and the modern woman and provides an insight into late 18th and early 19th century anxieties about gender, identity, and sexuality during a transformative period in European history. Our Gilbert and Ildiko Butler Drawings Gallery features an exhibition on a forgotten female abstract artist, Helen Saunders, with our Project Space presenting a display centered on a lost piece created by Saunders in the early 1900s, which was rediscovered in 2019 by two Courtauld students as part of their studies.

Our full exhibition programme can be found here.
