Available for private hire before the Gallery opens to the public, The Courtauld is available for breakfast events between 08:00 – 10:00.

With the ability to host up to 300 guests, we can tailor our spaces to suit your needs, immersing your guests in an inspirational setting surrounded by art curated with the utmost academic rigour.

Guests are welcome to enjoy breakfast in the Gallery, amongst our permanent collections or start with barista coffee in our stylish Art Café, before moving across for a private view of either our permanent or temporary collections.

Second Floor

The elegantly restored Blavatnik Fine Rooms showcase some of the greatest and most-loved works from The Courtauld’s collection, from the Renaissance through to the 18th century. A major highlight is Botticelli’s large-scale The Trinity With Saints.

This suite of six galleries spanning the entire Second Floor of the building makes it possible to host a breakfast reception for up to 300 guests, or an intimate seated breakfast for up to 50 in the Rubens and Baroque Room.

Third Floor

The spectacularly restored LVMH Great Room is the home of masterpieces from The Courtauld’s world-renowned collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. Highlights include Manet’s A Bar at the Folies-Bergère (1882), Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear (1889), and the most significant collection of works by Cèzanne in the UK.

The LVMH Great Room is directly adjacent to our special exhibition space, providing the perfect setting for a reception with a private view of a major exhibition. Guests are also welcome to access our Katja and Nicolai Tangen 20th Century Gallery, featuring works by Cecily Brown and our Weston Gallery.

Art Café

Striking, stylish yet relaxed and welcoming, Art Café is The Courtauld’s new all-day restaurant and bar located on the ground floor.

The warm vibrant interior has been inspired by the bohemian creativity of the Bloomsbury Group; and a colour palette favoured by the designs and creations of the Omega Workshop. Art Cafe is a great option for a light breakfast and a private view of an exhibition, accommodating up to 80.
