Facilities

Lockers

There are a small number of lockers available on the lower-ground floor. These are operated using a key and do not require a coin. Please note we cannot accommodate larger items of luggage, rucksacks or suitcases. All items left in the lockers is not the responsibility of the Gallery, please make sure that all items are taken offsite. The nearest luggage storage facility is located at Charing Cross Station, a 10 minute walk from The Courtauld Gallery.

Toilets

Toilets, including accessible and gender-neutral toilets, are located on the lower-ground floor.

Baby Changing Facilities

Baby changing facilities are located on the lower-ground floor.

Pushchairs

We regret that we have no space for visitors to leave pushchairs. The Gallery is fully accessible to pushchairs and visitors are welcome to keep their pushchairs with them throughout their visit.

Lifts

A lift serves all floors of the Gallery. Due to space limitations, and to enable social distancing, we ask that visitors avoid using the lift unless they are unable to use the stairs.

Food and Drink

We have crafted a shopping and eating experience inspired by the world-class artworks on display in The Courtauld Gallery.

Located in the atmospheric vaults on the lower-ground floor, The Courtauld Shop offers a unique retail experience for lovers of art and design. You can also browse and buy from our online shop.

Located on the ground floor opposite the main entrance is the new Art Café – our striking, stylish, yet relaxed and welcoming all-day restaurant and bar. The warm vibrant interior has been inspired by the bohemian creativity of the Bloomsbury Group.

You can also visit our pop-up café in the vaults on the lower-ground floor for food, drink, and discovery – another fantastic place to take a break after exploring the Gallery.
