The Summer School welcomes everyone over the age of 18.  From 2010, we regret that new child protection legislation prevents us from including participants under the age of 18.

The fee is £420 for the majority of courses in the Summer School.  Where courses include visits outside central London the fee is £445. For a few Courses the fee is £485 because close work with objects necessitates smaller groups and the purchase of specialist equipment and materials. The fee includes all classes and gallery visits, lunch on the first day, tea and coffee each day, admission fees, travel for visits outside London, a gallery tour, parties and free access to the Courtauld Institute of Art Gallery all week;  cost of travel within London is not covered. Any profits made from the Short Courses are used to support the work of The Courtauld Institute of Art in order to advance the study of art history and conservation.

Gift vouchers for all Courtauld Short Courses are available on request should you wish to make a gift to someone; they make an unusual and memorable present.

Full payment is due at the time of booking; we strongly advise booking early as the courses are very popular.  If you need to cancel your place, we will refund half the fee provided that you cancel at least four weeks before the course commences.  Within four weeks of the beginning of the course, refunds are not possible.  We do whatever we can to ensure that the Schools take place as advertised but we reserve the right to make changes or cancellations.  In the unlikely event that we cancel any course we will offer you full repayment of your course fee.
